Update 2


UPDATE 2 (10/1/22) 


We've been hard at work prepping this next update for everyone. The main goal of this update is to address the feeling of tedium and grind of the research tree, as well as to fix a couple of bugs that were causing issues. Specifically we've resolved the issue where tiering up to tier 10 would cause a massive graphical error, and make it nigh-on impossible to play the game. We've also introduced our first refinement to the hourly challenge!

 

Updates

  • Ducks now produce 1 more bread per level.
  • Removed time scaling for super ducks**
  • Added progress ring around duck to indicate proximity to rank-up
  • Added tier 10 duck and bread
  • Higher tier bread lets you buy more ducks from the market
  • Reduced market trades sliding all over the place
  • All research times have been rebalanced
  • Added pages to completed researches to prevent graphical error
  • Added tooltip for number of bakes left before ducks need to be fed
  • Added tooltip for max level on all ducks in kitchen
  • Changed tier up button location (Click on the T-x when it glows!)
  • Updated hourly challenge:
    • Hourly challenge now goes on forever but you have 4 lives.
    • Challenge becomes progressively faster on each successful hit
    • Successful hits reward science bread, rare bread, and ducks
  • Base duck market prices have been adjusted to match scaling changes
  • Rare bread earn rate reduced to account for hourly challenge rewards
    • XP bread was made more relevant
  • When ducks reach a new tier they start off fed
  • T9 and T10 bread now provide buffs when fed to ducks

  • Changed the achievement to "Actually Ducking Useless"
